Shraddha Das (born March 4 in Mumbai, India) is an Indian film actress, who has mainly appeared in Telugu films.


Career

Starting her career down south, Shraddha Das's first film Sidhu from Srikakulam has been a hit. She thereafter starred in a number of Telugu films, including Target, 18, 20 Love Story, Diary and Adhineta.

But the beginning of her actual career as an actress starts with Sai Om Films' much talked about maiden venture Lahore, which has already won Awards at the Prestigious 42nd WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival. It has been directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and produced by Vivek Khatkar. Shraddha had essayed a Pakistani character in the film, cast opposite Aanaahad, which released in March 2010.

Shraddha Das is also known as a 'sequel queen' in the South because of acting in Arya 2,Mantra 2 and Chandramukhi 2 as heroine, which are sequels to the biggest blockbusters and released in 2009. She played the female lead in Adhineta, her sixth film in Telugu with hero Jagapati Babu and Director Samudra.She played the other female lead in the remake of blockbuster Maro Charitra produced by Dil Raju, opposite Varun Sandesh.Currently she is filming for Chandramukhi 2 with Venkatesh under the direction of director P.Vasu. She also sang a track "gajjala gurram" in Charmi's movie Sye Aata(telugu), for which the music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
